Marostica from Bassano: These are 3 hand prints that are best displayed as an A4 size mount. Each print is made of 2 reduction wood cuts and using different inks to indicate early morning with its misty appearance, the brighter colours of midday and then the sunset colours of evening. The image is based on the view seen from a distance from Bassano in Veneto, Italy of the upper castle of Marostica several kilometres away.
