- Hugo Pictor E: This is a 28 x 22 cm limited edition (30) hand print from a single block wood cut and hand coloured. This is a homage to the 11th century book illuminator Hugo Pictor and for me an experience of trying to cut such a detailed and complex image that originally would have been hand drawn. Now I understand why very elaborate initials were not continued long when printing was invented. I added a copy of his self portrait and one of me making the block. - Sorry Durer: This is a 10 x 15 cm limited edition (50) hand print from a single block wood cut. This is a copy of a detail from the lower right corner of Durer’s Virgin and Child crowned by angels 1518 print and even though my copy is about double the size of the original, I still had to struggle even though armed with modern tools and excellent lighting.
