I have used 3 different colour prints to try to show the changes of colour through the day of the distant view of the upper castle of Marostica from the neighbouring Veneto town of Bassano del Grappa. Each print if from 2 reduction woodblocks with different combinations of inks to represent the hazy early morning appearance, the brighter midday and the deep sunset colours of evening.
